Scheme Benefits

The ALMA Programme (Aim. Learn. Master. Achieve.) gives you a clear and supportive pathway to grow your skills and prepare for new opportunities. Co-funded by the ESF+ and the Government of Malta, the programme focuses on helping you build confidence, strengthen your abilities, and experience personal and professional development.

Through ALMA, you will:

  • Learn essential soft skills, life skills, and independence skills through mentor-led sessions
  • Take part in an intensive programme of interactive indoor and outdoor learning activities
  • Build your communication abilities with a basic language component
  • Receive personalised support and guidance from trained mentors and qualified professionals
  • Gain the opportunity to experience supported work placement in another EU country
  • Get continued career guidance and additional support even after the programme ends

The programme gives you the tools you need to take your next steps toward work and future opportunities.

  • Currently not in formal employment, education, or training
